The Division 2 – Refactor Oxidizer Legendary Solo Build

Updated, a few Augments were massively buffed that most don’t use, Anomaly heals way more than Refactor for yourself now. This could mean a solo build of all high end with a single Anomaly and then anything you want including the buffed skill cooldown Augment too. More new Paradox info, you want this augment very strong with Chem Launcher skills and Shotguns, the latter having larger mag sizes helps even more,.

This is a solo and team build!

These are the lower numbers shown here, the ticks will hit harder solo and in a team. Thing about this setup is the DPS with Oxidizer, the ticks are very fast and can be hitting multiple enemies at 736k each. Each cloud has around 27 ticks with cloud duration being 13.2 seconds on my setup as shown when using Artificer Hive as secondary skill. Keep in mind if you want more overall damage and not just the biggest ticks use another secondary skill as recommended below.

Oxidizer is your main skill and should always be primary with this build!

736,000k damage each tick x 27 ticks per cloud x #Enemies = In a perfect world shows the true potential of Oxidizer. Now when you Overcharge these numbers improve quite a bit mainly due to haste increasing tick count.

Build:

  • 4 pieces refactor mask, gloves, holster, knees, all rolled skill damage.
  • Backpack Force Multiplier Perfect Combined Arms 30% skill damage, haste/skill damage attributes.
  • Chest Impetus Perfect Kinetic Momentum, I get the best numbers with this talent.
  • Main weapon, Test Subject AR Perfectly In Sync.
  • Secondary weapon, Scorpio Shotgun (recently changed to this, way better)
  • Pistol, Quickstep.
  • Gear mods haste.
  • Specialization, Technician.
  • Main Skill: Chem Launcher Oxidizer.

  • +6 Skill Tier.
  • Note about Paradox Augment, this will still work even without the modifier for refills. Just try getting as many enemies into the cloud, you can even overlap clouds to make them larger. Paradox is very strong with shotguns too, so investing in leveling up Paradox won’t be an issue. My experience is around 7%+ Paradox really starts to shine, I barely reloaded the new Sheriff shotgun with 7.5%.
  • Y8S1 Augments on prototypes, Paradox at least one piece (tested with only one, currently refills charges on all chem launcher skills often, more should be better), then do Echo on a few pieces, whatever after. Paradox is very strong with this build with Optimize/Overload Modifier, without modifier there is a minor difference due to overcharge making clouds larger.

Secondary Skill Change Tactics (Oxidizer is main skill):

  • Extreme long distance and you are in cover safe from enemies, Artificer Hive (Big ticks 736k-800k+ solo, more with team buffs).
  • Outside or scattered enemies in cover who won’t move, Cluster Seeker Mines.
  • Locking a side and position from rushing enemies or solo help, Assault Turret.
  • EMP Sticky Bomb/Jammer Pulse, no damage but can lower team damage from robot enemies or stop Marauders from bombing (emp sticky don’t detonate) with fast cooldown.
  • During missions you should be changing secondary skill often for best results.

OLD BUILD BELOW!

A note about this build in Y8S1 and Escalations, this has healed up to T6 in a group and solos. I haven’t tried going higher than T6 solo due to when you die it costs you so many tokens and the rotation of the missions changes weekly. Also will be prototyping this build for even more power soon, also note I discovered an auto revive version that I can’t stop playing.

Video below of this build using a turret and Oxy, no shooting so damage is lower per ticks. Capitol Building Legendary just the first starting sequence mob. You can complete all courtyard mobs by running up until mobs spawn and run back to second safe spot shown in photo below. In the video I spammed Oxy just to complete it fast, usually I shoot around 3-4 oxidizers and everything is dead, in video I went through all 7 charges this is not usual.

This build can do the hardest content in the game, even solo. I routinely solo these Legendaries District Union Arena, Capitol Building, and Tidal Basin with this build constantly changing my secondary skill. My chest has a crit chance (got new one now) attribute and have been trying to farm another one with haste/skill damage for some time now to help Oxidizer charge cooldown. So it’s not the best it can be yet, I do have one with glass canon but prefer not using it on this build.

Benefits:

  • Heals all teammates with skill damage
  • 600k+ ticks when using artificer hive and have capacitor stacks
  • Constant healing due to Oxy cloud duration
  • Outperforms turret/drone builds with enhanced refactor chest repairs
  • On demand damage where you need it to be
  • Oxidizer stacks for insane damage and heals
  • Very mobile, enhanced armor 1.1million in this setup
  • Carries weak teams if you stay behind, often only one alive to revive all
  • Build is easy to farm for, Chest piece might be toughest for perfect roll

  • Skills, Oxidizer (Mandatory), Artificer Hive, read play style below for more
  • Main weapon, Exotic Capacitor AR
  • Secondary weapon, Harmony (Perfect In-Sync)
  • Pistol, Quickstep
  • Cores, 1 Red, 2 Blue, 5 Yellow (Technician gives +1 on top), Skill Tier 6

Chest Talent Kinetic Momentum

Gear:

  • Refactor 3 pieces, mask, holster, knees (blue core on knees)
  • Backpack, Exotic NinjaBike Messenger (Resourceful)
  • Empress International, chest (Talent Kinetic Momentum) and gloves
  • All gear +1 skill tier, attributes haste/skill damage
  • Again kneepads have armor instead of skill tier
  • Mods, haste and skill duration (more ticks)

Don’t forget to shoot enemies for increased skill damage!

Play Style:

  • Use long range while in cover position, Oxidizer can be aimed from afar
  • Shoot enemies to improve your skill damage, even use both weapons
  • Stack Oxidizer on bottlenecks like doorways or spawn points
  • Swap artificer hive to turret or cluster seeker mines when needed
  • Use turret as a perimeter guard dog for charging enemies
  • Use hive when bombing from far away, other skill when in tight spots
  • You get more damage and healing from second skill with damage
  • Chest talent can be swapped to tag team to spam weaker Oxy if needed
  • Skill damage equals more heals with Refactor

Oxidizer hurts you and enemies, but not teammates.

Tips:

  • You are a Hybrid skill damage and heal, take out the ranged enemies
  • Grenadiers, Drone Operators, Snipers, Medics, should be your first targets
  • When you can’t move up yet use the oxidizer and artificer hive
  • Learn spawn locations and pre shoot Oxidizer for immediate kills
  • Assault Turret guarding you then shooting Oxidizer on ranged used most of time
  • Assault turret will net you more constant heals when playing in sloppy teams
  • Always be far behind your team, be the first to run if a wipe is incoming
  • Be aware companions or teammates can block your shots
  • OXIDIZER DAMAGES YOU BUT NOT YOUR TEAMMATES!
  • Don’t stand in your own Oxidizer, you die fast especially if stacked
  • If a weather event such as fog or rain happens it makes this build crazy good
  • Weather effects will make turret and enemies not see you as easy
  • Quick heal, most players do not know you can double tap on bandage smaller heal
