Division 2, Ember Engine one of the better sets recently.
09/03/2026
Ember Engine gear set probably my favorite newer build since Refactor. Everyone has a little difference to their own version, skill tier/red core versions. Definitely farming for a prototype and might expertise up one version of it to prototype exactly the way I want. This set with Amalgam/Trapper augments just like Ongoing Directive should work even better. I’m thinking a tad more survival, one thing is the burn from pulse drone does not trigger Anomaly heals so that does suck. Still lots to discover with the build, I’ll put up my own version of build soon with a twist.
The Blood of Dawnwalker
09/03/2026
Right at midnight my preload of The Blood of Dawnwalker activated, I was very tired and only got in around an hour of play time. The story is very cool, you can 100% tell Witcher 3 people made this by the controls which are a bit more complex than most games. Game ran good on Series S, so much of the world is interactive.
Palworld 1.0.3.xxxxxxx

Palworld 1.0.3.xxxxxxx, I have noticed when using my Xbox Series S this game has the highest energy usage of all my games. I run my system through a power unit that monitors watt consumption, when running this game it’s doing 15-20 more watts alone. This is very concerning, I went to look up comments about this game and see other Xbox owners saying their console gets extremely hot playing this. I can confirm it does in fact use more power than any of my games. For instance for all my devices my consumption is typically 79-85 total watts used playing most any game, this is Xbox, controller usb plugged in, and 43 inch tv. It’s 95-102 watts when playing Palworld, only change is the game.
Division 2, Ember Engine.
08/31/2026
Division 2, Ember Engine. Made a couple builds with this new gear set, tried the tactician drone version everyone is talking about which is decent, but damage is too slow for my taste. The burns were ticking around 130k at most to multiple enemies, still a funny build to hear enemies yelling all day. You can clear all directives open world and probably some missions with it, so new players on the come up you could build this and just hide very far back and clear stuff by moving your drone and never showing your location. I was able to never get chased or shot at multiple fights. Equip a rifle at the minimum because Sharpshooter specialization gives you rifle/sniper ammo while in cover. I think there is a better build to be made, combined the Ortiz Exuro 2x, 4x Ember Engine, Everlasting Gaze rifle, AR, attributes on gear set to +Status Effects, and Sharpshooter spec on the 130k tick build, just hid shot a few in head for buff here and there.
Marathon got a PVE mode, Arc Raiders still ignoring the request.
08/30/2026
Marathon just got a PVE mode roguelite, Arc Raiders still ignoring the request, note they have a new mode that is just like Divisions Rogue Agent switch and are calling it PVE, nope. I might try Marathon PVE mode out, I love Arc Raiders but want a PVE mode to chill in myself. What are the Arc Raiders even doing, the player counts have went way down? The Division 2 recently added PVE mode to the dedicated PVP area called the Dark Zone, for years all three areas were PVP only, now one is PVE, each week the PVE location changes.
GTA 6 preview opinion.
08/28/2026
GTA 6 preview opinion. Graphically far superior, less loading screens delay is a big plus, the Lucia chick is smoking hot so got me there, the location is really dang good. So my opinion is it looks damn good and I know like many will be dropping all other games for a day or two to play some of it. GTA games have yet to hook me into them for very long, have not finished one but play many of them little by little, who knows what this game ends up doing for me. Maybe this is the one.
The Division 2, Patch Bugs Hurt Game
08/27/2026
The Division 2, Patch Bugs Hurt The Game… This needs to be looked at, it would appear it’s ok to push new content out that has bugs, not only that but always has bugs each following patch. Personally I would rather have a delay for working content, in fact I’ll delay it myself by not downloading any new patch and wait for the internet to let me know the game functions “a bit more properly”. Oh look a 25 gig update on Xbox, yea it’s sitting there. Buggy patches push me to play something else, how’s that FOMO working for you now?
No Mans Sky, One of The Best.
08/26/2026
So lately been playing No Man’s Sky daily, got to say it’s one of the greatest games I have played in a decade. Quickly climbing the list of all time favorites, you can play this game forever. Just a little here and there or as long as you want during a play session. That’s the beauty of it, no rush and all sorts of different activities. Highly recommend you all give it a try, will not take too long to figure out the basic starting stuff, stick to the main missions and it teaches you things.
Gamescon

Gamescom 2026, snooze fest to me, just Dawnwalker but its already coming out in a couple weeks. How can all these new games be so boring?
