The Division 2 – Escalation Bank Headquarters Last Fight Strategy Tip (Skill Build)

Update, added video.

Quick strategy for the very last boss fight room using a skill build in Bank headquarters, you can nearly clear the room before entering it. Do not go down rope around where Ellis goes up in chopper, jump down to area with rope at one end and hold up. This ledge is where we will be setting up some skills, read below.

  • Skill build, Technician spec (strongest you have), assault turret, stinger hive till it runs out, then Artificer hive
  • Drop a strong assault turret on the very edge where I am standing in screen shot so it can shoot down, enemies won’t be able to hit it very well. This is that last area and we a pre setting our skills into the room. Max skill duration/mods on gear work well for this.
  • Stinger hive, throw it to the back center below on ground and try to have the edges cover as much space as possible to do damage. Use the range or +4 stinger charges mod up to you.
  • Now you can go down rope to enter area where ammo box is and you jump down again and run to the two sets of doors for final fight, but do not open them. This will trigger the encounter and your skills start tearing up the room. Overcharge your skills right after it starts, use modifier that does this Overload/Optimize or other if not in Y8S1.
  • Your stinger will run out of charges, let it fill back up then change to Artificer Hive to keep you turret up longer and it does more damage. Squeezing the most out of our skills.
  • This is all solo, but now if the entire team goes skill build and spreads hive around your team might be able to clear entire phase just about without even entering the room (never done this).
  • At the very end you might still have the boss up half dead and a few adds up, but it’s simple from there on. I have not been able to fully clear all phases with this but it does help for 2/3 of the encounter usually.
  • Turret has a superior view and does most of the work, once behind the door I haven’t found a way to do more damage because enemies won’t come to door area. It is possible to throw turret below more towards door to kite enemies near, but it will die faster. It seems to do better up on ledge.
