Division 2, Dark Zone PVE shows that it was a good idea. I really like the mode myself it’s grown on me, especially when playing solo. A few other games I play need to do the same, like Arc Raiders is very peak but got tired of obvious rat plays. I even tried being a rat for a minute, yea it was funny but bored me quick. PVE mode in the extraction shooters is a good alternative for lack of having a campaign. The Division games have a story/campaign and they even did it (added PVE into 1 of 3 dark zones rotating weekly), maybe that’s why I’m nearing 4k played hours on my Xbox alone.
