Im the annoying player with all 5 directives on, many join then quickly leave. They should stay you are buffed 2x (+20% damage, Crits buff) and will have all the ammo you need.
It does everything, solo, team, master, rogue agents, hard content, farming, endless ammo, status effects non stop, multiple dots, two team buffs, huge solo buffs, can top the damage meter, Escalations, Retaliations, all directives easy mode. The prototype augments really put it all together aka Amalgam, Trapper, and Ongoing Directive is a dream combo. Yeap I run the fixer drone 90% of the time with two +20% Incoming or Repair mods. Only change I do often is swap the mask for Catharsis if doing harder content solo. If playing in a team and no regen directive is on will swap to Repair Skills mods to help teammates with my little fixer drone.
There are a couple enhancements I could make like instead of Alloy gloves using OD version and swap to Salvo on holster. Thing is I have maxed level 10 prototype augments on those pieces so using them for now. When I play Pestilence always have extra weapon handling, pretty much a sniper with LMG. Usually the player in the back all the time, watch a twitch stream and you’ll notice. Also with fog of war directive on it can be tricky, with a pestilence ticks and status effects enemies are marked for me. There is an option in the game to show status effects as icons above enemies and recommend it be turned on for visibility.
All Directives Cooldown Tip:
FYI, there are multiple versions of directives the devs swap to.
I added expertise to fixer drone, each level adds in duration which doesn’t sound great at first. Due to my constant all directives play style the drone is up for a very long time allowing my secondary skills to be used if a directive resets cooldowns when other is used aka not the cool skills green trophy version. The tip is drop your long cooldown skill aka Reviver this will start cooldown around 23 seconds for Fixer Drone on my setup. Keep Reviver on floor once cooldown on Fixer is ready pop it out and then pickup Reviver which will be ready to use. You will find many Hardcore players use this technique farming with all directives on.
Not using this technique, say you start a fight get hurt pop Fixer to heal this will trigger the full cooldown on reviver, now you have no Reviver for a few minutes. You don’t want that.
