The Division 2, Rambolita Hardcore Y8S2 Toxic DZ Experience

A new updated Rambolita build with increased damage was made for this.

Fun and frustrating, learned a few new things too. Let me tell first about the frustration part, this hardcore character had zero DZ levels after around 4+ hours only got to level 3 in DZ. The bottleneck was I could not extract because stabilization agent would not drop, you need this to extract. So after around 16 landmarks mosty all Challenging and Heroic one finally dropped. Now I was running things much slower due to being on hardcore, but let me tell you something the Rambolita build is absolutely the best Toxic DZ build by far I have used. Yea I had some close calls and even the weaker Unbreakable talent went off a bunch but we backed off and re positioned in safety.

So I get this first stabilization agent and call in extraction, welp I took too long to kill hunter due to him running away and missed the chopper wasting the stabilization agent. Yeap so back to grinding landmarks, it took around another 5 but now I was getting Hard and Normal ones showing up and that made things easier. Got another stabilization agent and this time activated the Invincible modifier and rushed him, yeah I had to drop but had reviver hive ready but we have been doing this on normal DZ the past week to make it super simple to kill hunter. So finally the first extraction and I got the hell out of there.

While doing this run I gained nearly 200 DZ resources (2 stacks of 100) and only 4 large canister caches, this is due to the 6 slots available for low level DZ. The only reason I got 3 levels was because I did 3-4 supply drops which was like 750xp, those got annoying because so many random patrol spawns surrounded me often. Extraction is big xp but I only did one due to this horrible system for new characters, it’s very easy on my other higher level character to get the stabilization agent.

Some things I learned:

  1. I played all this time solo on hardcore, nobody ever came into the DZ and did any event or extraction. It was pretty cool actually, but if there were other players I could have extracted way sooner.
  2. Prototype augments can be leveled up here, I had two brand new ones and they hit 100%.
  3. Rambolita build actually does destroy this mode with ease, I could not believe how good it really was at 1.3 million armor. I updated the Rambolita build during this run btw, more damage. Y8S2 modifier Invincible and 3 passives, sand and stone, inoculated, spark and flame.
  4. Before joining the DZ I was noticing my Pestilence felt weak, well on this newer character I hadn’t rerolled the last attribute on Pesty. It had stability so rerolled it a few times to get Damage to Armor. After that it was back to feeling like beast mode then added more expertise to it.
  5. For new DZ Hardcore characters in Toxic DZ getting a stabilization agent can be a nightmare and extracting especially if you are the only one in the DZ. This needs to be adjusted. 4+ hours until I got my first one, no joking!
  6. DZ East is way easier than DZ West from last week, mainly due to flat city layout.
