Hearthstone – Wild Deck – Lucky Mage v1.4

This is a wild deck (older cards crazy builds), I have used this one for a few years and it’s a ton of fun. It has almost made it to Legend but the last time I got high ranked stopped due to boredom. I always come back to hearthstone after awhile, best game to play on iPad to me. This is an updated version, changed 3 cards only and have not even tried the newest cards available yet either. I will probably make a new version soon after playing some new cards.

This deck will piss people off, it’s very annoying. (At least when I play it)

The fun part of this deck is you will typically be losing most of the game, this is where the deck gets the name “Lucky Mage”. I have had so many players nerd rage message me after a game with this deck, imagine having control of the entire match to suddenly get destroyed with 1 hp left on this Mage. Now some times if you are playing against a fast tempo deck this has the capability to also stop them through duplication on multiple methods. Play style is very versatile, adjust your duplication choices depending on the opponents deck.

I may add a few videos from matches, one will show a dupe Ice Block infinite loop win.

After playing this awhile you begin to see patterns of what usually comes when playing a few of the “Lucky” cards in this deck. This deck can also destroy mill decks if played carefully, you have a few ways to cheapen the costs of everything in the deck. Duplication, secrets, Yogg, discounts, crowd control, burst. This is the deck you want to play if you like seeing arrogant emote players taunting you for half an hour only to lose at the end, happens most of the time. There isn’t any healing in this deck, you can armor up using higher cost spells with the two minions “Arcane Artificer”, I dupe these minions often sometimes as misdirection bait.

This deck can be altered during matches to fit the scenario, jack of all trades:

  1. Outlast outsmart, dupe Rewind, Blizzard, Frost Nova, Ignite, and Secret cards to outsmart.
  2. Mill opponent, dupe card draw spell Research Project while cheapening your spells.
  3. Burst minion heavy decks, dupe Supernova cards and armor up using Arcane Artificer to survive.
  4. Clear board of high threat minions crowd controlling before, The Amazing Reno.
  5. Get free dupes from quest card hero power discounted spells, Raid the Sky Temple.
  6. Match looking not going well, get lucky or dead with Yogg-Saron Hopes End.
  7. Try using Yogg-Saron only when hand is low of cards otherwise.
  8. Playing against secret heavy mage, dupe secrets and minions to counter.

Duplicating cards:

  1. Rewind – get another copy of previous spell
  2. Photographer Fizzle – store a copy of your hand (even duplicators) back in deck in a package
  3. Commander Sivara – minion saves copy of next three spells once in hand gives copies when played
  4. Educated Elekk – stores copies of all spells used in game when killed
  5. Duplicate Secret – duplicates minions
  6. Ignite – self duplicating a stronger version each time
