This is my most hated mission for a bunch of reasons, I remembered this part from years ago doing it on PC when Auto Shop first came out. When I came down the elevator immediately “oh no it’s that mission” part again. You can only get this mission if you own an Auto Shop, it’s usually the very first mission I am guessing on the whiteboard upstairs in shop having three parts. This is the final part where you steal some gold and escape, but it’s not that easy due to GTA 5 making this horrible for reasons I will list below. The stupid part begins immediately after grabbing gold and going down elevator to car garage.
- Once you exit elevator you are treated to a 5 star wanted level and garage filled with enemies.
- The enemies are not much of a problem if you find a good spot in cover.
- Before this mission you choose a loadout of weapons to use, so your own good stuff can’t be used. I had a crappy smg loadout and swats were laughing at me.
- The real problem is the pathing of this whole garage area.
- Once you come out big door into the garage area your movements are auto moved to the left out the exit into parking area, loss of control. I remembered the rage because of this years ago.
- The entire area is wonky, running to cover during this mission is off.
- The police cars under garage are locked and you cannot get into them, or at least the two I tried wouldn’t let me.
- Anyway to get past this part clear most of the mobs out then run to the left where one police car is parked at end of exit out in sun. Before running to get into police car finish off the cops and two mobs from swat vehicles behind the car, then it’s just driving away in cop car but being chased by a ton of cops.
- If you die while driving you will be sent to the correct spot where the yellow (get away vehicle) sports car is. No big issue the checkpoint is past the stupid part.
- So to sum it up, the loss of control during first part, weird pathing, running to cover slowness made this mission part total hell.
- I did this part a dozen times before finishing it solo and said nasty mean bad things over and over. 270k reward after deductions.
